Do we have to register with Visa® or MasterCard® to become an ISO with Chase Paymentech?
Yes, registration is required by the Associations.
What is the cost of registration with Chase Paymentech?
Chase Paymentech passes through any association fees required to register your company as an ISO/MSP.
Those fees are an initial $10,000 ($5,000 for Visa® and $5,000 for MasterCard®). An annual fee
of $5,000 is also assessed by the Associations for each subsequent year to maintain registration.

We feature a variety of programs, including programs offering liability or
no liability, and multiple pricing options, with a variety of products and programs from which to choose.
What does the application process entail?
As required by the Bankcard Associations and our own high standards, we conduct a complete due diligence
on the background of prospective ISOs including credit, financial and business plan reviews. We look
for ISOs that have extremely high standards in representing the Chase Paymentech brand.
What is the contract length between Chase Paymentech and the ISO?
Contract lengths can vary but are typically 5-7 years in length.
Once approved and registered, how does my business represent itself in the marketplace?
Chase Paymentech ISOs can sell with one of the most recognizable brands in the industry behind them.
ISOs represent themselves as a registered ISO/MSP of Chase Paymentech. Chase Paymentech ISOs also have
the opportunity to build their own brands within the marketplace.
Do we need bankcard experience to become an ISO for Chase Paymentech?
Yes, we are looking for industry veterans; however, we do have other opportunities for companies or
individuals new to the business. These include Agent Programs with our existing registered ISOs.

Does Chase Paymentech offer training?
Yes, we offer a variety of training options including training that can be completed in one of our
Chase Paymentech facilities including Sunrise, FL; Dallas, TX; and Tampa, FL. We can also have our
training staff visit your location for on-site training. Our professional trainers also conduct on-going
web-based refresher training courses.

How can we gain access to the Chase Paymentech front-end?
Chase Paymentech has a variety of programs that can allow you to use our proprietary front-end processing
network.
How can we convert our portfolio to Chase Paymentech?
We have a top-notch conversion team that makes the conversion process
smooth and seamless.
Does Chase Paymentech have an auto-approval process for my ISO merchants?
Yes, our E-Credit system approves many submitted merchant applications without an Analyst review, and
those applications are approved the same day.
Are original merchant applications and signatures required?
No, a faxed or PGP-encrypted copy of the documentation is sufficient.
What are PGP-encrypted copies?
This is a format to encrypt email for security purposes. We would provide you with the "key" needed
to electronically encrypt and secure documentation.
Can we use our own merchant agreement?
Chase Paymentech has a standard merchant application. As a registered ISO, that application can be
branded with your name and company logo.
What are the different pricing strategies available to me as an ISO partner?
Merchant accounts can be priced using many different pricing scenarios including: Flat Rate, Two Tier,
Three Tier, Incremental Pass-Thru, and Incremental with Basis Point Increase, Billback, and Billback
with Surcharge.
Can I price each merchant in my portfolio differently? Can I price the merchant gross
rather than net?
Yes, each merchant location can be customized according to your pricing strategy. And each merchant
location can be priced either gross or net.
